What Is Thermodynamic Monism? Auditing My Own Framework—September 2026 Revisions and Clarifications
ByNathan Sweet September 29, 2026October 5, 2026
From Ontological Countermodel to Corrigible Research Programme How my own methodology demoted Thermodynamic Monism from an umbrella ontology to a corrigible research programme without abandoning its one-process, non-dualist core. Thermodynamic Monism, plainly: Thermodynamic Monism is a process-relational research programme built around one ontological wager and one physical discipline: reality is treated as one causally continuous…

How Levin and Resnik’s “Mind Everywhere” Paper Confirmed Every Predicted Critique I Raised to its Authors Two Months Before Publication On February 25, 2026, Michael Levin and David B. Resnik published “Mind Everywhere: A Framework for Conceptualizing Goal-Directedness in Biology and Other Domains” as a two-part article in Biological Theory. (Links: Part One | Part…

ByNathan Sweet February 24, 2026September 16, 2026
Sam Senchal’s “Defense” of The God Conjecture/Observer Theory:A How To Guide for Employing Harmful Apologetic Tactics to Avoid Falsification The facts material to anyone concerned with scientific integrity are straightforward. Sam’s Conjectures and Theories generate precisely zero novel predictions that are not either borrowed from prior frameworks or reducible to the trivially weak claim that…

Is God-as-Agapé-in-Acts Falsifiable? Can Theology and Science Be Unified Without Supernaturalism or Religious Dogma? What Does Hebrew Actually Say about God is Love? A Falsifiable Answer: Thermodynamic Organizational Closure (TOC)

How Conservative Scholars, Landauer’s Principle, and Falsifiable Theology Reveal God as Process in Exodus 3:14 and 1 John 4:8. Preface: The Argument in Brief The Core Claim This paper makes one core testable claim: what religious language refers to as “God” is not a supernatural being but a class of relational processes instantiated in communities…

Sam Senchal’s Observer Theory and God Conjecture: When Reifying Process into Substance Violates Both Biblical Grammar and Thermodynamic Physics, While Mirroring Discovery Institute Tactics
ByNathan Sweet February 15, 2026September 16, 2026
How Senchal’s TI-as-Necessary-Being Contradicts Hebrew Imperfect (אֶהְיֶה), Greek Predicate Nominative (ὁ θεὸς ἀγάπη ἐστίν), Conservative Evangelical Scholars (Wright, Harris, Dunn, Campbell), Landauer Bounds, Organizational Closure, and Four Peer-Reviewed Critiques (Aaronson, Rickles, Natal, Weinberg)—While Relying On Unfalsifiable Assumptions That Can Equally Validate Any Claim—Then Blocks the Critic for Systematic Falsification UPDATE: Rather than engage in good…
